Our Philosophy:

As the numbers of refugees residing within the encampment in Matamoros, Tamaulipas continues to grow, we continue to respond to immediate needs in real-time. We are committed to developing and implementing practical solutions with relation to longer-term sustainability.

Working in concert with other humanitarian organizations on both sides of the “frontera” or border, Resource Center Matamoros acts a compassionate bridge of humanitarian aid as we extend a helping hand to those without the tools to create better lives for themselves and their families.

As a leading non-governmental organization providing trauma-informed care, RCM has established relationships with all levels of the Mexican government to advocate for health, wellness and dignity for refugees.

At the foundation of our work are the principles of trust, respect, integrity and a commitment to create the greatest positive impact for the vulnerable population we serve.
